Named after the erstwhile hunting palace of the Maharaja of Jaipur, Jogi Mahal is a new 40-key boutique property by Bookmark Resorts in Ranthambore’s Khilchipur village. While the original Jogi Mahal in the forest is sadly out of bounds, a life-sized mural of the palace awaits you in the lobby and the resort aims to recreate the lives of the erstwhile maharajas. The design of the place is a mix of Rajasthani architectural influences with arches, jharokhas, and a baoli or stepwell leading to a large swimming pool. The rooms are ensconced in stand-alone villas and twenty premium ground-floor rooms come with their own temperature-controlled plunge pools and sundecks.
