Brief about Old Sultanpur
Old Sultanpur is a very shy resident tigress of Sawai Mansingh Sanctuary. At present, she roams in Zone 10 of Ranthambore National Park. She is the daughter of T-14, who was among the three sisters, T-15 and T-16 (Machali), the Lady of the Lake and the legendary late tigress of the wildlife reserve.
Territory & cubs
The tigress (T-13) separated from her mother after becoming an adult. She rules the territory in the Sultanpur area with her male counterpart, Guda (T-12), with whom she has given birth to two cubs (one male, T-38) and (one female, T-39) and two more cubs, T-49 and T-50 later. In December 2013, Old Sultanpur was spotted again with her cubs in Zone 10 by E.D. C. guides. Currently, the tigress rules the territory, sharing space with the male tiger, Fateh (T-42).
