The Bookmark Resorts, Cheetahgarh, Jawai, is located at Rotela Lake, Varawal Circle, Bera, District Pali, Rajasthan 306126. It’s situated in the heart of Jawai’s leopard country and spans 20 acres of Aravalli landscape and granite hills, with a natural lake at its edge.
Jawai is a land of ancient granite hills, open scrubland and quiet waters. It’s famed for its leopards and is often referred to as the Masai Mara of India. It’s a place where wildlife, the Rabari people and the terrain have all shared the land for generations, and the resort keeps you very much at one with all three.
October to March is the most pleasant time of year and the most comfortable for safari and time out in the open. April to June can be very hot, though there’s often plenty of wildlife around the waterholes to make the safari worthwhile. Winter is also the season for the migratory birds around the lakes.
